The aluminum profile is a process material that chemically treats the activated plated parts in an aqueous solution of salt and hydrochloric acid. Aluminum profiles are often selected due to their excellent electrical conductivity. On an equal weight basis, aluminum's electrical conductivity is nearly twice that of copper, and its thermal conductivity is about 50%-60% that of copper, which is useful in the manufacture of heat exchangers, evaporators, heating appliances, cooking utensils, and automobiles. Advantages Of Aluminum Profiles
Compared with other commonly used metals, aluminum profiles have lower density and lighter weight. The density is only 2.70 g/cm3, which is 1/3 of that of copper or iron.

Characteristics Of Aluminum Profiles

1. Non-ferromagnetic

Aluminium profiles are non-ferromagnetic, an important property for the electrical and electronic industries. Aluminum profiles are not self-igniting, which is important for applications involving handling or contact with flammable and explosive materials.

2. Machinability

The machinability of aluminum profiles is excellent. In various wrought and cast aluminum alloys, and in the various states in which these alloys are produced, the machining characteristics vary considerably, which requires special machine tools or techniques.

3. Formability

The specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility and corresponding work hardening rate govern the variation in allowable deformation.

4. Recyclability

Aluminum is extremely recyclable, and the properties of recycled aluminum are almost indistinguishable from virgin aluminum.

5. Corrosion resistance

The density of aluminum profiles is only 2.7g/cm3, which is about 1/3 of the density of steel, copper or brass (7.83g/cm3, 8.93g/cm3, respectively). Aluminum exhibits excellent corrosion resistance under most environmental conditions, including in air, water (or brine), petrochemicals, and many chemical systems.

6. Conductivity

Aluminum profiles are often chosen due to their excellent electrical conductivity. On an equal weight basis, the conductivity of aluminum is approximately 1/2 that of copper.

7. Thermal conductivity

Product Classification And Application

By purpose

By alloy composition

It can be divided into 1024, 2011, 6063, 6061, 6082, 7075 and other alloy grade aluminum profiles, of which 6 series are the most common. The difference between different grades is that the ratio of various metal components is different. Such as 60 series, 70 series, 80 series, 90 series, curtain wall series and other architectural aluminum profiles, there is no clear model distinction for industrial aluminum profiles, and most of them are processed according to the actual drawings of customers.

Production Process
1. Melting and casting is the first process of aluminum production. The main processes are: batching, smelting, casting.

2. Extrusion is a means of forming profiles. First design and manufacture a mold according to the section of the profile product, and use an extruder to extrude the heated round cast rod from the mold. The commonly used grade 6063 alloy also uses an air-cooling quenching process and subsequent artificial aging process to complete the heat treatment strengthening during extrusion. Different grades of heat treatable strengthening alloys have different heat treatment systems.

3. Coloring and oxidation: The surface of the extruded aluminum alloy profile is not strong in corrosion resistance. It must be surface treated by anodizing to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of the aluminum material. The main process is: surface pretreatment, anodizing, sealing

Characteristics and properties of aluminum profiles after various surface treatment processes
Frosted fabric aluminum profile: Frosted aluminum profile avoids the disadvantage that bright aluminum alloy profiles will cause light interference in certain environments and conditions in architectural decoration. Its surface is as delicate and soft as brocade, which is very popular in the market.

Multi-tone surface-treated aluminum profiles: monotonous silver white and brown can no longer meet the architects' good cooperation with exterior wall decorative tiles and exterior wall latex, new stainless steel, champagne, golden, titanium, red series ( Wine red, burgundy, black, purple), etc. and stained glass can make the decorative effect even better. These profiles must be chemically or mechanically polished and then oxidized to achieve good results.

Electrophoretic painted aluminum profiles: The surface of the electrophoretic painted profiles is soft and can resist the erosion of cement and mortar acid rain. 90% of the aluminum profiles in Japan are electrophoretic painted.

Powder electrostatic spraying aluminum profiles: powder electrostatic spraying profiles are characterized by excellent corrosion resistance, acid and alkali salt spray resistance is much better than oxidation coloring profiles.

Plasma Enhanced Electrochemical Surface Ceramicized Aluminum Profile: This type of profile is the most advanced processing technology in the world today. This profile product is of good quality, but the cost is high. It has more than 20 kinds of colors, and its biggest feature is that it can be colored like a printed cloth according to the needs, the surface of the profile is colorful, and the decorative effect is excellent.
The following points should be paid attention to when purchasing and using aluminum alloy building profile products
1. Carefully observe the surface condition of the product, the product should be bright in color, good in luster, and there should be no obvious scratches, bubbles and other defects on the surface.

2. Be sure to pay attention to the wall thickness of the product. The product thickness of doors and window materials should not be less than 1.0mm.

3. Pay attention to the thickness of the surface coating of the product, the film thickness of anodized products is not less than 10μm, the film thickness of electrophoretic paint products is not less than 17μm, the thickness of powder spray coating does not exceed the range of 40-120μm, fluorocarbon paint spraying The product should be above the second coating, not less than 30μm.

4. Users in coastal areas should choose electrophoretic paint profiles, powder spray profiles or fluorocarbon spray profiles with better corrosion resistance.

5. Other hard objects such as brushes cannot be used as cleaning tools during daily maintenance, and soft cotton yarn and cotton cloth should be selected.

6. Water, detergent and soap can be used for cleaning, but other organic substances cannot be used.
